Has the features most important to us
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gas cooktop is much better than our old one. The LP conversion was successful, and the burners easier to regulate, though the labels and instructions for the burner tips didn’t quite match the color coding. So we had a little guesswork there. The knobs are metal and sturdy, unlike the plastic knobs on our old cooktop. So far we’re very happy with it. I do miss the hinged grates, but that’s not a major issue.

Works excellent

Flame
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In less than a month of use, we start noticing yellow instead of blue flame from all five burners.

Great Look and features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed this about 2 months ago. It looks great and has very sturdy cast iron grates. I love having 5 burners.

Poor build quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took delivery of this cooktop a month ago and am very unhappy with the purchase. Once installed, it was apparent that something inside was bent (even though there was no visible damage on the outside) as the top would not sit flush with the counter. Getting a repair person was a huge hassle and now it's been a full month waiting for parts when the appropriate solution should have been to replace the entire stove. On top of that, lighting one burner causes all 5 burner igniters to click simultaneously which seems wrong. The repair tech, however, claims this is how it is supposed to work. We specifically went with Kitchen Aid due to what we perceived was a high quality brand unaware that they were swallowed up by Whirlpool some time ago. Don't get me started on the double oven that we purchased at the same time as this cooktop. That has been non-functional for the entire month since it was installed and the warranty repair company won't touch it unless we pay a separate company to uninstall it and leave it in the middle of our kitchen so they can work on it. This purchase has been an absolute nightmare!

Flawed Replacement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop was replaced by my insurance company, American Home Shield. However, it arrived scratched and was installed with the promise that it would be replaced with a new one. Well...... we are still waiting.

Cleans easily, durable cooktop, location of knobs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I researched cooktops at length to find a quality brand and one that would fit in the counter space to replace my GE Profile, which I did not like. I love my new Kitchenaid gas cooktop, and am enjoying having a cooktop that not only looks great but evenly and timely cooks food items and makes it fun to cook again!

Great Cooktop!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the cooktop for a few weeks. It is great for cooking numerous things at once with its five burners!
